Family Financial Planner 2026 tax year
Household planning, North America

A financial plan that knows your actual tax rate.

Most planners guess at tax with a flat percentage. This one runs the real brackets — every province, every state — across your salary, dividends, capital gains and retirement withdrawals, for thirty years.

Where do you pay tax?

This sets the whole model — brackets, payroll, account types and the business entity. You can change it later, and each earner can sit in a different province or state.

Disclaimer — read this before you rely on anything here

This is software, not advice. Family Financial Planner is a calculation tool. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, borrow, incorporate or do anything else.

Nobody here is your planner. This site is not operated by a licensed financial planner, financial advisor, dealer, broker, accountant or lawyer, and no one connected with it holds themselves out as one. “Financial Planner” in the name describes the software. In Ontario, Quebec and other jurisdictions that title is regulated for individuals; this site is a program, not a person using it.

The numbers are estimates. The engine applies 2026 federal, provincial and state rules to the figures you type in, using simplified models. It does not know your full situation. Carry-forwards, prior-year balances, many credits and deductions, alternative minimum tax and provincial programs are left out or approximated — Quebec’s senior credits in particular. Tax rules change every year, sometimes retroactively. Every projection rests on return, inflation and growth assumptions that will turn out to be wrong in ways nobody can predict.

Verify before you act. Confirm anything you intend to act on with a qualified professional who knows your circumstances — an accountant, a licensed financial planner or a lawyer. Where this tool and your professional disagree, the professional is right.

Your data, your backups. Everything you enter is stored in your own browser and nowhere else. We cannot see it and we cannot recover it. If you clear browser data, switch devices or the browser discards it, it is gone unless you exported a copy.
